Review of The Longest Yard

The Longest Yard is a sports movie released in 2005, and is a remake of the original which was released in 1974. Paul Crewe is a infamous ex-NFL player who got banned after shaving points. He is obsessed with the game, regardless that he won't ever be let back in. He takes his girlfriends car out driving after locking her in a closet and gets arrested for drunk driving. He heads to Allenville, a prison in the middle of a Texas desert. The warden asks if he will help coach up a team to help the prison's team of guards work up the courage to play against other teams by beating a team of inmates. The team starts out as an unorganized group, but slowly works up until they might actually stand a chance against the guards. This movie is a really good movie and anybody who enjoys football or any sport should have no trouble watching this through. It had good character interaction and plot designs. Over all, it was a very good movie.

Review of How I Met Your Mother

How I Met Your Mother is a TV sitcom where Ted Mosby is living in the year 2030 and is telling his two children about how he met their mother. The stories usually end up going on extremely long tangents that have nothing to do with the story, but are hilarious nonetheless. He tells about how he met his friends Robin Scherbatsky, Barney Stinson, Marshall Erikson and his wife Lily Aldrin and the wild things they have done. An amazing, hilarious sitcom that everybody will enjoy, regardless of whether you start from the beginning or not.

Review of Doctor Who

Doctor Who - Current Titlecard.png     Doctor Who is one of the longest running sci-fi series to date. It has over 11 doctors and a lot of recurring character. The storyline goes like this, the Doctor is a timelord which is an alien who can travel time and can regenerate his body. When the Doctor regenerates he is at a point where he might die and at the end of his regeneration he turns to a whole new person one with a different appearance and personalities. Doctor Who is very confusing and its very hard to start the series out in the middle of the season. If your looking for a adventure science fiction series this maybe for you if your willing to put in the hours of confusion you'll be in trying to follow the storyline. Though once you get in to it everything will be very clear. I recommend this for anyone willing to be in a long term science fiction series -Megalion Oei

Review of Skyfall

The poster shows a man wearing a tuxedo and holding a gun, standing in front of an image that looks like it was taken from the inside of a gun barrel, with the London skyline visible behind him. Text at the bottom of the poster reveals the film title and credits.     Skyfall is the 23rd James Bond movie and I must say is one of the best of the James Bond movie from the very beginning through the end kept me hooked on the story. James Bond has always kept his image of being a very smooth and calm spy with a plan. The movie explores the childhood and back story of James and his very sad early life. This movie is a compelling story of the roots of Ian Flemmings character. I highly recommend this movie to old and new fans of the genre -Megalion Oei

Review of Pokemon Emerald

Pokemon Emerald is a Generation III game that was introduced into the Pokemon franchise in North America on May 1st, 2005. It depicts Rayquaza on the box, and that already shows that it will be a great game. When you put it in and turn it on, the graphics that great you are similar to that of what has been before, but it is a refreshing aspect that connects this game to the originals. This game is an amazing addition to the series and brings back old aspects in new and innovative ways. I highly recommend this game to any new players or old fans.

Review of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

File:Diamond EN boxart.jpg     I love Pokemon for the intense battles and amazing graphics its always keep me wanting more games. Diamond and Pearl was the first game to go on the new Nitendo DS at the time. It gave a whole new view of battling, I cant even count the hours I've put on the game since I was 8. Pokemon in general has always been in my life from the games and even the TV shows. Diamond and Pearl was the first game I actually knew what I was doing. I've beat that game 3 times since I got it. I highly recommend the game to anyone.
