Divergent is a book about a dystopian world where there is 5 factions each having there own ways to fix the world and reasons why the world became dysfunctional. The main story is about a girl from abnegation which is the faction of peace named Beatrice (Tris). Once a person reaches the age of 13 they take a test to decide which faction they should go to. Also there are a limited amount of people that are called divergent which they call those who have special powers and don't really belong to a faction. Not to say any spoilers, but Tris learns the hidden plan of one of the factions and sets up the plot line to the other books. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves the Hunger Games will love this book. -Megalion Oei
